Meals are
regular occasions in a day when reasonably large amount of food is eaten”
where as
“Snacks are small
amounts of food eaten between the meals”
I am sure you guys must be wondering why I am telling
you the definitions of these.
Actually people often tells me that we hardly take big
meals or in other words our diet is not that much but we still encounter weight
gain or feel lethargic, we always wonder why ????
The answer to this is very simple, sometimes the
problem are not because of big things
that we always focus on and with this here I mean, our three major meals breakfast,
lunch and dinner. Possibilities are there that you may be eating just the right
amount of meal which is required by your body to function smoothly.
As we always
neglect the small problems to deal with bigger once and that we don’t realize when they become big. How many times we count number of tea/coffee we take
while we work, small munchies that we keep on having every now and then, few
tikka’s and pakora’s when we party, and the list is endless. We hardly count
them. But fact doesn’t change that they too have calories and we never realize when
these small calories start showing on our weighing scale.
That’s why monitoring the calorie of meal as well as
snacks are equally important for your maintaining your weight on a long run.
“So
always count what you eat !!!”
No problems about indulging with myself when I am in Delhi area....Your Company must be ding wonders.
