Complete Wellness

When talking about health and wellness, the images that conjure up in our minds are all related to healthy food, the gym, sports and anything that has to do with the physical well-being. We spend a lot of our time worrying about our wellness and do not shy away from splurging on workout regimes that target different parts of the body. However, we forget about the wellness of our mind and soul. We concentrate on working out for our body but we forget to work out for our senses. But when we do it for all, that is when we can achieve complete wellness. It is very important to concentrate on complete wellness instead of focusing only on physical well- being because there has to be a balance in life. This balance is possible only when our mind, senses and soul are all in good health along with the good health of our body. Overcoming anxiety, fear and stress is as essential as overcoming physical weakness, poor dietary habits and other things related to the body. As a matter of fact, a healthy body can never be completely healthy if the mind is disturbed in any way. Taking care of complete wellness and making it a part of your life in simple ways can help you in taking your overall well-being to another level altogether. You can learn the right ways of meditation or consult a professional for modifying your lifestyle so that it can be the way it is considered most healthy. It is a good idea to open up and discuss your thoughts and worries with people you trust so that you can find an outlet for any negativity that may be cluttering you mind in any way. Complete wellness can transform the way you see things and also the way you look at the very concept of good health.

Time to Time

Whenever we think of our wellness and wellbeing, we always find ourselves so pressed with time that we only becomes our last priority as personal and professional responsibilities comes first. But as we all know “where there is a will there is always a way out”, so….There is never going to be enough time because 24 hours is all we would get no matter where we are or what we do. But if we really want to do a thing, we can always “create” spaces within the time that has been allotted to us naturally. What if you cannot take out full one hour for work out, break it and exercise whenever you get time as it will still going to help you because “something is better than nothing”. You will be surprised to know that there are endless opportunities you get in a day which we can be utilized for your health without making an extra effort of taking out time like when you are sitting idle, while doing your household works and even to some extend while you are in your office too, there is always some things which you can do for your wellness, all you need to do is do it then and there rather than waiting for that perfect leisurely one hour for workout which will only going to come once in a blue moon.If we sit down and think about all the useless places where the minutes of the day escape, we would be amazed at our own ignorance. So always remember that you are in charge of your life and you should plan your day so that you can do things that interest you the most. The idea is to find out the right moments that can be either replaced or changed to suit your needs. You should utilize your time for something that makes you happier and healthier. There are always things you can cut down from your routine which are not that necessary so that you can make use of that time in doing or learning something interesting or meeting up people who matter to you. Our 24 hours are filled with such opportunities, all we need is to sit down, relax and plan out those hours to the best of our advantage.

Excuses

We never run short of excuses when it comes to avoiding exercise or any activity that can be beneficial for our health and well being. Even a thing as little as a healthy change in diet seems too cumbersome and we suddenly get enriched with a mysterious supply of justifications for others as well as for ourselves. The top excuses are listed here and also, why those excuses should never be used.

 No time/ I am too busy: This actually translates to “I am too lazy”! Believe it or not, this is the most lame excuse for skipping a workout. If we start looking closely, there are plenty of opportunities within a span of 24 hours that can be made use of for exercising. You could wake up an hour earlier than usual and go for a jog or you could cut down on the time that you spend watching TV or other useless activity and make space for a healthy alternative.

 I am thin. I don't need a change in diet: A slim physique is in no way synonymous with a healthy body. You need to seriously start analysing your food habits and your level of physical activity and be honest with yourself if you want a long and healthy life ahead.

 Today, let it be. I'll start a healthy routine from tomorrow: And we all know that this “tomorrow” never comes and it is only a matter of days before we completely ditch our wellness regime. A strong will power is necessary along with sufficient motivation. Instead of thinking of new escape routes, start thinking of ways in which you can make your plan a

success.

A healthy mind and a healthy body are two of the most essential elements in our lives. We need to get over our childish tendency of making excuses and act like grown ups to take the responsibility of our well being.
